May Meeting

As there are so many topics which could be covered at this time – varroa control when honey supers are on; effective monitoring of varroa numbers; getting comb well drawn; ‘easy’ swarm control – I have been unable to decide which will be the most useful so have decided to make this an open workshop. So, bring along your questions and issues, and we will have answers and options for you to ponder on.

In addition, if the weather is good enough, Sue will be opening some of the hives, plus there will be other practical apiary tasks to be done, such as frame making and cleaning, if so inclined.
